Closed flares for all new operated projects
To meet the challenge of reaching zero routine flaring, E&P has modified its technical guidance. Not only do we now incorporate closed flares into all of our new operated projects, we also promote closed flare solutions among our partners in projects not operated by E&P. The biggest advantage of a closed flare system is that it reduces our carbon dioxide and methane emissions, which brings us closer to the Company’s ambition of Net Zero emissions, together with society.
